We have been asked what our unique selling point is and the answer is quiet straightforward; we carry out both architectural and engineering design in house, in the same office in one small practice! This is actually quite unusual in a practice of our size!

Many of the national consultants can offer both these services but most people don’t want to deal with an outfit of that size. For a start the person who comes to see you about your project is unlikely to have anything to do with once the work commences as this will be passed down to the lowest common denominator in the office. Which is understandable as they have to cover their overheads.

Here at M Design we have a different attitude as we like to be involved from the first day to the last. We will come and meet you, start sketching designs and then take your project right the way through the design process to detailed design and tender stage if necessary. Whoever comes to see you will actually be the one clicking the mouse or the calculator and doing the work!

That means for you as a client you can get immediate answers on anything on your project straight from the horse mouth. As we do the architectural and the engineering in house there is none of the….’we will have to check with the engineers and get back to you’! A small difference but an important one.
