In a departure from the usual M Design have been appointed by a national engineering consultancy to provide some staff training on AutoDesk’s Civil 3D 2011 design package. It is quite a compliment really to our staff and we are happy to take this unofficial ‘pat on the back’.

Bit of a conundrum as I guess we are helping the ‘competition’ but their training needs would have been met by someone…….so it might as well be us!! We will be covering all aspects of the design tools available in package from creating surfaces to producing longitudinal sections and setting out information.

We have been using Autodesk Civil 3D since the business began and have undertaken training in Autodesk’s HQ in Switzerland in Neuchatel. We also prepared a critical review of Civil 3D 2009 to highlight areas the software could be improved for UK users.

It’s got us thinking about other ways of making money and growing the business so maybe this is the start of something! Watch this space……
